Books for First MBBS in Sri Lanka
First MBBS is the year with the longest book list and the least guidance on which parts of it you actually need. The grouping below reflects how the books get used: one main text you read from, a dissection manual that lives in the lab, an atlas you look at alongside both, and question banks for the professional exam.
You do not need every book in every section. Most students settle on one main anatomy text and one atlas, then add question practice closer to the exam.
